The men’s basketball team lost a heart-breaker to Tech in overtime.

How should Tom Herman’s first season be graded?

A grade of B- seems fair to Herman following a season where the Longhorns showed signs of being not too far away from contending in the Big 12 due to the elite defense Todd Orlando put on the field and arguably the best punter in school history in Michael Dickson helping win the field position battle. At the same time, there are noticeable chinks in the armor Herman needs more time to repair like figuring out the proper direction of the quarterback position, fixing the offensive line and improving the overall depth up and down the roster to what’s comparable to other championship-caliber programs.

A former TCU football player is suing coach Gary Patterson and some school employees for forcing him to play through an injury.

Kolby Listenbee, a former Horned Frogs wide receiver, filed a lawsuit in Dallas County on Wednesday and stated that Patterson and others were negligent in dealing with an injury Listenbee he suffered in September 2015 against LSU. Court records indicate Listenbee is seeking more than $1,000,000 in damages.
