For the first time since last June, It’s college baseball game day. Texas Longhorns baseball will host the UL-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns tonight at 6:30 pm CT at Disch-Falk Field in Austin.
The No. 21 ranked ‘Horns are looking to shed the bitter taste of falling in heartbreaking fashion to Long Beach State in last year’s regional round in the NCAA Tournament. If Texas takes another step forward this year, the bulk of the team’s production will have to come from new faces, as David Pierce’s 2017 team lost several key players to the MLB Draft.
