On Thursday, the Texas Longhorns sent out a wave of offers to high-level 2019 prospects from around the nation.

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei outside linebacker Mase Funa was among those who received an invitation to call Austin home following his senior season, Funa announced on Twitter.

A four-star prospect ranked No. 90 nationally, per the 247Sports Composite, Funa now becomes the highest-ranked prospect holding an offer from the ‘Horns and the third outside linebacker overall, joining Marcus Flower Mound product Marcel Brooks and St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) native Avery Huff.

Funa’s Texas offer pushes his list to 10, as the ‘Horns join BYU, USC, UCLA, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Oregon as the programs interest in Funa’s services.
