Fort Bend Travis wide receiver Arjei Henderson has his list of final schools and the Texas Longhorns are no longer in contention:

Back in January, Henderson announced his plans to take five official visits this spring, including to Texas, TCU, and Ole Miss, but it now appears that those three schools will not host the nation’s No. 8 wide receiver.

At the time, the Longhorns and Sooners were his top schools.

A massively productive pass catcher who now has more than 2,500 yards and 32 touchdowns through the air over the last two seasons, Henderson originally committed to Oklahoma early last year, then decommitted before pledging to Oregon over the summer and decommitting in November.

In recent weeks, other wide receivers have emerged as priorities for the Longhorns, including local products Garrett Wilson and Elijah Higgins. Texas is also pursuing West Mesquite standout Dylan Wright. Meanwhile, the staff continues to evaluate Baylor commit Jaylen Ellis, yet another Austin-area product who visited for last weekend’s Junior Days.
