In this week’s Longhorn Republic, Kyle is back from Las Vegas so they get back to work talking Texas Longhorns sports.
They open up talking about the Texas Longhorns’ early exit from the Big 12 tournament and what the team will look like for the 2018-2019 season (2:00). But it’s not all bad basketball news, as the women’s basketball team continues to roll in the Women’s NCAA Tournament (12:00)
The Texas baseball team managed to right the ship with a sweep of the Kansas Jayhawks to open Big 12 play (14:08), while the football team starts Spring Practice (17:29). Will it be Shane Buechele or Sam Ehlinger suiting up at quarterback for the Longhorns? Will they be handing the ball off to Toneil Carter, Daniel Young or someone not even on campus yet?
As always, the boys honor Big Bertha and Bang the Drum (27:02). Kyle looks back at Shaka Smart’s first 100 games in Burnt Orange and Gerald looks at the missing piece of the Texas passing game.
