During a big recruiting event on the Forty Acres with the Orange-White game on Saturday at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, a handful of top recruits were in attendance. One of those prospects, 2020 Lake Travis quarterback Hudson Card, received an offer from the Texas Longhorns:

The 6’2, 170-pounder who replaced Ohio State-bound Matthew Baldwin in the playoffs last season is a four-star prospect by 247Sports who holds offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Oklahoma State, TCU, and others.
Card is also a teammate of wide receiver Garrett Wilson, a key target at wide receiver for the Longhorns who visited on Saturday prior to his upcoming decision. More remarkably, Card is the first 2020 quarterback offered by the Longhorns.
