Katy Taylor continues to send recruits to College Station, as weak-side defensive end Braedon Mowry announced on Saturday that he’ll join former teammate Max Wright in Aggieland after committing to the Texas A&M Aggies:

The 6’4, 235-pounder was considered a heavy Texas A&M lean. Texas offered, but was never heavily in the mix for Mowry. And considering that Oklahoma was also in the mix, Mowry heading to the SEC is a much better result for Texas than having to see him in the Cotton Bowl in the future.
Right now, Nolan Catholic product NaNa Osafo-Mensah is the key Longhorns target at the weak-side defensive end position, while JUCO product Jermaine Johnson could also be in the mix. Katy Seven Lakes standout David Ogwoegbu also holds an offer, but it’s not clear that he’s interested in Texas right now.
