The Longhorn Republic thinks baseball has what it takes

The Texas baseball team may have a shot to host a regional and kick the NCAA tournament off on the right foot.

In this week’s Longhorn Republic, Gerald Goodridge and Kyle Carpenter take the time to look at the Texas Longhorns’ chances to host a Regional and how they can set themselves up for a fortuitious start to the NCAA Tournament (3:13).

The Texas football team picked up a major committment (11:13), from tight end Brayden Liebrock. Does this player have the capacity to be the next great Longhorn tight end.

As always, they close the show honoring Big Bertha and they Bang the Drum (21:50). Kyle is quite excited about how athletic director Chris Del Conte approaches changing the system, while Gerald tries to figure out the appeal of real turf on the football field.
