The third offer from the Texas Longhorns in the 2021 recruiting class went out on Friday afternoon, with Dallas Parish Episcopal quarterback Preston Stone landing one from the staff:

The 6’2, 185-pounder is a dual-threat prospect who burst onto the scene as a freshman with nearly 3,000 passing yards and 29 touchdowns in 2017.
As a result, Stone’s recruitment is already remarkably far advanced for a prospect so young — he holds about 20 offers now, including Georgia, Michigan, South Carolina, TCU, and Texas A&M, among others. Many of those offers have come in the last several days.
Stone is the first 2021 quarterback prospect to receive an offer from the Longhorns.
