One of the top prospects from Hawaii plans to be in Austin this weekend, as the Texas Longhorns will host Honolulu (Hi.) Punahou inside linebacker Maninoa Tufonoa:

The 6’3, 225-pounder picked up an offer from the Longhorns in early February and will now make it to campus. Tufono is the nation’s No. 5 inside linebacker and holds more than 35 offers from around the country.
Given that Texas badly needs linebackers in the 2019 class, Tufono could quickly emerge as a legitimate target if his visit goes well — there are three 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for Washington, but given Tufono’s high profile, that’s not much consensus.
Other than Washington, West Coast programs are considered the favorites for Tufono.
Texas currently has a commitment from De’Gabriel Floyd, the nation’s No. 4 outside linebacker. The staff would likely prefer to add at least two more linebackers to the class due to limited depth on campus.
