Once again, the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners will square off during the 11 a.m. CT slot for their annual meeting for the Red River Showdown. And once again, for the second time in three seasons, the FOX family of networks will televise the Red River Showdown, with the 2018 edition being a nationally televised game on FOX.
Texas and Oklahoma are scheduled to meet on Oct. 6.

Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt and Jenny Taft will be on the call.
Last season, the Longhorns rallied back from a 20-0 deficit to capture a 24-23 lead in the fourth quarter before ultimately falling 29-24. The loss marked Oklahoma’s second consecutive victory over Texas and the third in the past four years. Texas, however, still leaves the all-time series, 61-46-5.
