One of the top rising 2021 defensive prospects in the state has earned himself an opportunity with the Texas Longhorns.
Texarkana Pleasant Grove standout Landon Jackson visited the Forty Acres for the Tulsa last night and while in attendance, Jackson received an offer from the Texas coaching staff, he announced on Twitter.

Jackson has now reeled in a total of nine offers from the likes of Arkansas, Baylor, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech.
A four-star prospect, Jackson no stranger to the Forty Acres, as he made a trip to Austin for the Longhorns Junior Day in mid-February. Texas A&M, however, is considered the early favorite, with all four of Jackson’s Crystal Ball projections siding with the Aggies.
At 6’4, 215 pounds, Jackson is ranked as the nation’s No. 1 weak-side defensive end and as the No. 9 player in the state, per 247Sports.
