On Sunday, 2020 Calabasas (Cali.) wide receiver Johnny Wilson released his list of top five schools and the Texas Longhorns made the cut:
You gotta tell The WIZRD, it’s a story like a book...✍ pic.twitter.com/EtDeCfmwXv

The other schools to make Wilson’s list include Ohio State, Oregon, UCLA, and Washington.
Remaining a factor in the 6’5, 215-pounder’s recruitment is significant news for the Longhorns — Wilson received his offer from Texas back in early December, so he hasn’t been on the radar for an exceptionally long time. And the interest from Wilson indicates that head coach Tom Herman and his staff should have a chance to get the California product on campus at some point during the recruiting process.
UCLA and Washington both have 247Sports Crystal Ball picks for Wilson, as does USC, which was just eliminated. Oregon recently hosted him for an unofficial visit.
A consensus five-star prospect, Wilson is ranked as the No. 18 player nationally, the No. 2 wide receiver, and the No. 5 prospect nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
