Tom Herman and the Texas Longhorns extended scholarship offers out to 2021 Allen wide receivers Bryson and Blaine Green on Thursday evening. Texas joins Baylor as the second in-state school to reach out to the twin brothers with offers.

The Green brothers both visited Austin for a camp last summer.

With their latest offers from Texas, Blaine and Bryson each now hold nine scholarship offers from Power Five programs — Auburn, Baylor, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ole Miss, and Virginia Tech. With arguably their best offers coming in the last month from Nebraska, Virginia Tech, and Texas, the Greens are on pace to receive major national recruiting attention heading into their junior season. 247Sports lists the twins at 6’1 and 175 pounds.

As a sophomore, Bryson totaled 463 yards and nine touchdowns on 29 receptions in Allen’s high-powered offense, while Blaine hauled in 16 receptions for 192 yards and four touchdowns. The Eagles fell one game short of this year’s state championship, as they lost in the semifinals, 44-35, against Duncanville.

Former Longhorns wide receiver Dan Buckner (2008-2009) is an Allen alum.
