Tickets to get in the gate at the State Fair and watch the No. 11 Texas Longhorns and the No. 6 Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday morning at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas won’t be the most expensive game for the burnt orange and white faithful, but will be the third most expensive this season, according to Vivid Seats.

On StubHub, the cheap ticket for the game is $349 value, with the website advising that the best value is on the lower sideline, ranging from about $540 to nearly $700. The most expensive ticket on the site is in the lower bowl near the 50-yard line — those tickets are going for more than $1,000. The average cost is $488, according to Vivid Seats.

Fortunately for the atmosphere as it concerns the Longhorns, Vivid Seats says that Texas fans are expected to out-number Oklahoma fans 53-47.
