5-Star DT Maason Smith Lists Texas in top 10

2021 five-star Houma (La.) defensive tackle Maason Smith trimmed his list of schools down to 10 last night and the Texas Longhorns made the cut.

Smith holds offers from many of the nation’s elite programs and per 247Sports’ Crystal Ball , LSU is the heavy favorite to land the five-star big man.

Smith will undoubtedly be a tough pull given the year the Tigers are having and the hold they have on recruits that reside within the state’s borders.
