The Texas Longhorns didn’t turn in their best performance of the year, but managed to come away with a 42-31 win over the West Virginia Mountaineers Saturday.
Quarterback Sam Ehlinger was not quite as accurate as he usually is, but still managed to turn in a solid performance, with 211 passing yards and two touchdowns through the air, as well as two on the ground. With Keaontay Ingram struggling after an injury, quarterback turned running back Roschon Johnson turned in a stellar performance, finishing the game with 121 yards on the ground, averaging 5.8 yards per carry.
Defensively, the Longhorns manhandled WVU quarterback Austin Kendall, coming away with four interceptions, including two by sophomore D’Shawn Jamison.
