SB Nation FanPulse Top 25: Texas fan confidence takes another hit

New, 4 comments

The Tigers remain on top as Longhorns fan confidence drops to its lowest point this season.

As the college football world approaches the end of the regular season, the LSU Tigers remain in the No. 1 spot in the SB Nation FanPulse Top 25, with the Oklahoma Sooners and Baylor Bears sitting at No. 6 and No. 8 respectively.

The only other Big 12 team among the top schools is Oklahoma State coming in at No. 25. The BON community largely agreed with the national rankings, albeit with the Cowboys one spot higher.

Meanwhile, with Thanksgiving approaching voters were asked with side dish they would ban, ultimately choosing candied yams/sweet potatoes over green bean casserole, mac and cheese, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. Surprisingly, a quarter of the respondents would get rid of mac and cheese. It’s not a traditional Thanksgiving dish, but come on y’all.

In the Longhorns fanbase, voters seem ready to get rid of the current football staff, with fan confidence dropping to a season low of 4.8 percent, down from 10.4 percent last week.

Yikes.

Confidence in the basketball program dropped from 64.6 percent to 55 percent.
