With the Texas Longhorns senior football class set to leave the program after the Valero Alamo Bowl on New Year’s Eve, with them will go the last flicker of their recruiter, former head coach Charlie Strong. Even so, these players – including receiver Devin Duvernay, defensive back Brandon Jones and defensive lineman Malcolm Roach, among others – directly impacted the early trajectory of the Tom Herman era, despite the fact that their final year on the Longhorn gridiron didn’t turn out like one might have predicted at the beginning of the 2019 campaign.
To them, we send our thanks and wish them luck. Here’s the Longhorn Network’s roundup of the players’ top 10 plays over the course of their college careers on the Forty Acres.
Looking forward to playing in the @valeroalamobowl in San Antonio. Texas fans, let’s make this a home game environment for our Senior’s last game! pic.twitter.com/2KTTVX2UBI
