Former Texas Longhorns standouts Jarrett Allen (Brooklyn Nets), LaMarcus Aldridge (San Antonio Spurs), and 2018 NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant (Golden State Warriors) will be participating in NBA All-Star 2019 this weekend in Charlotte, N.C.

Allen, the second-year starting center, will compete for Team USA in the MTN DEW ICE Rising Stars game on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. CT on TNT. Allen’s sophomore season has been highlighted by his plethora of blocks on superstar players.

Durant and Aldridge will both compete in the 68th annual NBA All-Star Game on Sunday for Team LeBron. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. CT from the Spectrum Center and TNT will provide national coverage starting at 6:00 p.m. CT. Durant was voted in as a starter, while Aldridge will come off the bench as one of his replacements at forward.

This marks Aldridge’s seventh All-Star Game appearance. Durant is making his 10th straight All-Star Game appearance.

All three of these players have their teams in position to make the playoffs if the season ended today (Warriors: 41-16, Spurs: 33-26, Nets: 30-29). Thanks to some great health, each player has played in at least 57 games for their teams this season and no player has missed more than two games.
