After blowing a 6-0 lead and losing to the UTSA Roadrunners at home on Wednesday, the Texas Longhorns responded with a statement of a series against the No. 2 ranked LSU Tigers this weekend.
Texas outscored LSU 23-11 on the series and capped off the series sweep with a 7-6 walk-off victory on Sunday. This performance moved the Longhorns up double digits in every collegiate baseball poll on Monday.
A four-game series in Palo Alto against the No. 6 Stanford Cardinal stands ahead of the team this week. Stanford just took two out of three road games against Cal State Fullerton this past weekend. All games can be seen on Pac-12.com, via the Stanford live stream.
