Texas Orange-White game highlights ‘Made in Austin Weekend’

The Horns will preview the 2019 football season while David Pierce’s club hosts the Wildcats amid numerous festivities.

For the first time, the Orange-White game for the Texas Longhorns football program will not only cap spring practice, but will serve as the centerpiece for what the school is calling the ‘Made in Austin Weekend’ from April 12-14.

The highlight, of course, will be the spring game at 6:30 p.m. Central at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium after the first-ever Bevo Blvd. before a spring game, as well as free Longhorn City Limits concerts on the LBJ lawn before and after the game.

Led by Executive Senior Associate AD for External Affairs Drew Martin, expect enhancements to Bevo Blvd. based on feedback from its debut last fall, artists announcements coming soon, and a theme day for the Texas baseball game against Kansas State that Sunday.
