In addition to hosting junior college linebacker Juwan Mitchell for an official visit, the Texas Longhorns also hosted several unofficial visitors on Friday, as Pleasant Grove assistant coach Kevin Reaves brought 2021 standout defensive ends Landon Jackson and Marcus Burris to campus along with his son:
Fun trip to UT with these studs... Coach Giles is a class act.

Jackson, a 6’6, 240-pounder with 20 offers and a top-40 ranking from 247Sports, is a key target in his cycle, as evidenced by his early offer in September 2018. A&M is considered a legitimate contender for Jackson, who also holds offers from national programs like Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma.

Keep an eye on Burris as 2021 recruiting heats up — he’s considered a top-70 prospect who already holds offers from programs like Alabama and Texas A&M, with LSU joining the fold during the spring evaluation period, as well. Consider him firmly on the Texas radar with this visit.
The other prospect in the picture is 2019 Henderson State commit Bladen Reaves.
