The long-awaited matchup arrived and in spite of a valiant comeback effort, the Texas Longhorns fell to the LSU Tigers on the efforts of emerging quarterback Joe Burrow.

The LSU signal-caller passed for 471 yards and four touchdowns, but the Longhorns’ trigger man Sam Ehlinger had a night of his own, putting up just the sixth 400-yard passing performance in school history.

What was the difference for the Longhorns on Saturday and what can they learn as they head into their final non-conference matchup before welcoming the Oklahoma State Cowboys in two weeks?
