The 19th meeting between the Texas Longhorns and the Kansas Jayhawks will kick off at 6 p.m. Central at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin on Oct. 19, the Big 12 Conference announced on Tuesday.

It will be the second Longhorn Network game this season for Texas and give the Longhorns a chance improve on the 15-3 all-time record against the Jayhawks. Last season, Texas held off a late comeback by Kansas to pull out a 24-17 victory in Lawrence.

Before the game, Prince’s former band, The Revolution will play at Longhorn City Limits, following Austin native Emily Wolfe.

“We are beyond excited to welcome The Revolution to Longhorn City Limits in October,” said athletics director Chris Del Conte. “With so many timeless hits that are the soundtrack of a generation, Texas fans are in for an unforgettable gameday experience.”
