Texas hosting watch party for LSU game at Longhorn City Limits

Couldn’t get a ticket to the LSU game but still want to experience the game-day environment? Texas is set to host a watch party at LCL.

Upwards of 100,000 people will pack into Darrell K Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday evening for a sold out top 10 showdown between the No. 9 Texas Longhorns and No. 6 LSU Tigers.

If you aren’t among those masses and missed out on a chance to get a ticket but still want to experience the game-day festivities and the game, itself, you’re in luck, as Texas will host a watch party at Longhorn City Limits.

Longhorn City Limits is located on the northeast corner of the stadium, where the Texas-LSU game will be shown on a giant screen on-stage, per the school.

Kickoff between the Longhorn is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.

The entire schedule of Saturday’s festivities on the LBJ lawn is as follows:

  • 5:30 a.m.: Pit access opens for ESPN College GameDay
  • 8-11 a.m.: ESPN College GameDay LIVE broadcast
  • 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.: LBJ Lawn closed for set changes
  • 2:30 p.m.: Deep Eddy Lounge at Longhorn City Limits opens
  • 3:30 p.m.: Rob Baird at Longhorn City Limits
  • 5 p.m.: Midland at Longhorn City Limits
  • 6:30 p.m.: Texas vs. LSU Watch Party
  • Postgame: Silent Disco
