After missing on two opportunities to score from the red zone, the Texas Longhorns got their first score of the game thanks to a 55-yard touchdown strike from Sam Ehlinger to Brennan Eagles.

That 55-yard touchdown was the Longhorns’ first play longer than 50 yards since Ehlinger connected with Reggie Hemphill-Mapps against the West Virginia Mountaineers in 2017. That snaps a streak of 17 consecutive games without a play of 50 yards or longer.
