Wednesday’s game in Stillwater is the first of two appearances on ESPN+ this season.

When the Texas Longhorns travel to Stillwater to face the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Wednesday, the burnt orange and white faithful won’t be able to find the game on cable — that’s because it’s the first of two games this season on the Big 12 Now/ESPN+ platform.

The change this season is a result of an expanded existing rights agreement between the Big 12 and ESPN that was reached last year to add hundreds of live conference events to the ESPN+ platform. The new agreement does not impact the contract between ESPN and Texas to produce the Longhorn Network, but conference baseball road games, for instance, will be available on the ESPN+ platform.

Here’s what Longhorns fans need to know to watch the game live when it tips off at 7 p.m. Central.

How do I sign up to ESPN+ and what does it cost?

  • ESPN+, which will be the digital home of Big 12 Now, is available via the ESPN App, or for just $4.99 per month (or $49.99 per year) and can be canceled at any time. You can also sign up for it right here with the BON ESPN+ affiliate link.
