Texas is the latest to extend an offer to 2021 Fort Lauderdale (FL) 3-star wide receiver Troy Stellato, as the Longhorns joined the fray this evening per Stellato’s Twitter account.
Stellato may have a three star ranking with the networks, but he absolutely has a five star offer list, as he holds over 30 offers to date including offers from Alabama, Clemson, LSU, and Ohio State. The heaviest of heavy hitters are already in the race for the speedy wide out from the Sunshine State, so it will a tough task to sign him wherever he ends up.
Stellato recorded 42 catches for 727 yards and 9 touchdowns per 247Sports, and recorded a 4.42 40 yard dash time at The Opening regional last February.
Stellato works out of the slot a good bit on tape and with his speed and ability to work over middle of the field that is a safe bet to where he will project at the next level.
Texas will certainly have a good story to tell Stellato after the year Devin Duvernay just had on the field in the slot, but they will have to out hustle some of the elite programs in the country if they want to earn his commitment in this recruitment.
