The recent weeks haven’t exactly been ideal for the No. 22 Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners. The former needed nothing short of a miracle comeback to escape Lubbock with a win just one week before falling at home to TCU, while the latter has squandered leads to drop back-to-back games to Kansas State and Iowa State.

So, it would be an understatement to say that each team can afford a major momentum-building win, and what better opportunity to capture than win than the Red River Showdown?
