One week after suffering a scary fall during a failed hurdle attempt against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Texas Longhorns freshman running back Bijan Robinson will play against the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday in Austin, according to a report from Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports.

The news that the 6’0, 222-pounder will be available against the Horned Frogs comes after he was able to practice on Thursday. Anwar Richardson of Orangebloods first reported Robinson’s participation in practice. Robinson suffered a strained back against Texas Tech and did not return to the game.

Listed as the third-string running back behind junior Keaontay Ingram and sophomore Roschon Johnson on this week’s depth chart, Robinson has nine carries for 50 yards and three receptions for 20 yards this season.

A consensus five-star prospect out of Arizona in the 2020 recruiting class, Robinson was ranked as the nation’s top running back in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
