The Longhorns had to overcome both a slow start and a late push from the Bears.

The Texas Longhorns were unable to put the Baylor Bears away late, but managed to make just enough plays to come away with a 27-16 win in Austin.

From here on out, Texas is fighting for its life in the Big 12 title hunt, so righting the ship with a win was needed.
