Texas RB Keaontay Ingram won’t return vs. Oklahoma State with ankle injury

Ingram scored the Longhorns first touchdown of the afternoon but isn’t available to return.

After suffering an ankle injury early in the Texas Longhorns’ road showdown with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, junior running back Keaontay Ingram has been ruled out for the remainder of the game, per the school.

Ingram suffered the ankle injury on a four-yard carry on 1st and Goal from Oklahoma State’s five, ad though he came up noticeably grimacing, Ingram one more touch to push the Longhorns into the end zone for their first score to even the action at 7-7.

Due to the ankle injury, those two carries proved to be Ingram’s only touches of the afternoon. Meanwhile, Bijan Robinson, who started the game, has seven carries for 47 yards, and Roschon Johnson has turned his four carries into 18 yards early in the third quarter.
