Texas has extended an offer to Shiner athlete Dalton Brooks on Wednesday.
Brooks announced via his Twitter account that the Longhorns had come forth with an offer and that it was his first FBS offer to date.

Brooks is featured on both sides of the ball for Shiner at free safety and wide receiver, but with him tagging Texas receivers coach Andre Coleman in his tweet it leads me to believe his offer will be at receiver.
Brooks earned starter snaps as a freshman in 2019 and with Texas already offering I’d imagine there will be several schools following suit in the future.
