The Longhorn Republic looks ahead to the Red River Showdown

The annual rivalry looks a little different this year, as both teams have struggled to start the year.

There’s a lot hanging on the rivalry game as the Texas Longhorns travel to Dallas to take on the rival Oklahoma Sooners.

Texas is coming off yet another embarrassing loss at the hands of the TCU Horned Frogs, while Oklahoma looks to avoid a 0-3 start that will essentially guarantee a finish near the bottom of the conference.
