Former Texas Longhorns quarterback Garrett Gilbert is back under center. Well, maybe.
This time, it seems, for the Dallas Cowboys.
Gilbert, a class of 2009 recruit out of Lake Travis High School in Austin, began his career with the Longhorns before he was benched and eventually transferred to join the SMU Mustangs. He’ll replace rookie Ben DiNucci, who replaced veteran Andy Dalton. You get it.
