The No. 21 Texas Longhorns travel to Lawrence on Nov. 21 to face the Kansas Jayhawks in a game that will kick off at 2:30 p.m Central on ESPN2, the Big 12 announced on Monday.
The Longhorns are entering the season’s final bye week on a three-game winning streak and currently sit in a three-way tie for third place in the conference with a 4-2 record in Big 12 play. Iowa State and Oklahoma State both have one conference loss.
Kansas opened the season with a loss to Coastal Carolina and now sit at 0-7. Of the six conference losses, none of them were closer than 21 points.
In the all-time series, Texas leads 16-3 with the last loss to Kansas coming in 2016, the game that cemented the end of the Charlie Strong era. Last season, the Longhorns needed a last-second field goal by Cameron Dicker to escape with a 50-48 victory against a Jayhawks team that finished the season 3-9 overall and 1-8 in Big 12 play.
