Texas has extended an offer to four star Dallas (TX) Parish Episcopal School offensive tackle Austin Uke.
Uke was previously committed to Holy Cross, but after a strong senior campaign has blown up on the recruiting radar over the past month.
Uke committed to Holy Cross in late September, but over the past month he has landed thirteen Power Five offers including verbal offers from Florida State, Missouri, Penn State, USC, and TCU.
With the de-commitment of Michael Myslinski, the Longhorns have entered the fray for Uke and with the amount of attention he is now getting it doesn’t appear likely that Uke will be signing during the early signing period.
The Texas staff is going to need to make some serious moves along the offensive line between now and February, because it has been a less than stellar performance in that department this cycle.
