Texas offers 2022 4-star WDE Marvin Jones Jr.

Longhorns extend an offer to one of the top edge rushers in the 2022 class.

Texas has extended an offer to 2022 Fort Lauderdale (FL) American Heritage four star defensive end Marvin Jones Jr.

Jones is currently ranked as the 70th overall player according to 247Sports’ composite rankings and is the 5th ranked weakside defensive end prospect in the country.

Jones is already closing in on thirty offers on his resume and has already received offers from heavy hitters like Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon, and USC.

Jones’ father, Marvin Jones starred as a linebacker at Florida State before being drafted by the New York Jets in the first round back in 1993. It looks like the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree with younger Jones, as he is on his way to playing collegiate football at an FBS program in the near future.
