Four star Louisana safety Kaine Williams released a top six schools last month, but today via his Twitter account he announced that he would amending that list to include two new schools.
Both Texas and Florida State were added to Williams’ list to make it a top 8, as both schools offered in late January and are now in the mix for the defensive back.

Williams’ top list of schools is heavy with SEC programs, including the in-state LSU Tigers who are likely the favorites at this point in his recruitment.
It’s encouraging to see that Texas was able to quickly make a good enough impression to jump into the mix for Williams, but this is a recruitment that will certainly be tough to win with the Tigers fresh off of a national championship and schools like Alabama and Georgia lurking.
