Without any commits or signees in the 2020 or 2021 recruiting classes, Texas Longhorns head coach Shaka Smart and his staff continue their efforts to land prospects. According to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.com, 2021 Montverde (Fla.) Montverde Academy shooting guard Langston Love will visit this weekend.
Love also visited Texas last October and the Longhorns are considered one of the top contenders for the San Antonio-area native, who is also high on the Cardinal.
The 6’5, 190-pounder is considered a versatile shooting guard — he converts at a high rate from the free-throw line, can finish at the rim, from the mid range, and from deep, and is a willing defender with the height and length to make an impact in college on that end.
A consensus five-star prospect, Love is the No. 19 player nationally and the No. 2 shooting guard, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
