The Texas Longhorns defense struggled in the 2019 season, perhaps caused by or enhanced by the inconsistency in the secondary. Whether it was injuries, poor play or a combination of the two, Texas struggled to slow down many of the potent passing attempts in the Big 12. So what was the cause of the struggles and how does Texas fix it moving into Spring Practice? Who will they look to in the secondary to take over leadership with Brandon Jones graduating and who will seize the opportunity to take on a starting role?
