The Longhorn Republic dives deep on championship eSports

The League of Legends team took home a five-digit purse a year ago and were on track for another big season.

This eSports team represented the Texas Longhorns in the collegiate championship in 2019, winning $56,000 in the process. We also get a primer on what exactly League of Legends is, what the ins and outs of the game is and how Texas stacks up against the rest of the nation.
