After looking like the season was all-but over, a heavily-injured Texas Longhorns basketball team managed to put themselves right back into the NCAA Tournament discussion. Back-to-back wins the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Texas Tech Red Raiders has fans excited and national attention focusing on the Big 12.

Head coach Shaka Smart appears to have the team energized and playing at a high level, in spite of losing four players due to injury. And now, with two games on the schedule, Texas has the opportunity to play for the No. 3 spot in the conference.
