In a tough, gritty, defensive game, the Texas Longhorns came out on top over the Oklahoma Sooners 52-51. The game was closely contested all night long, and ultimately came down to the wire, with a Matt Coleman go-ahead three pointer with just 0.6 seconds left the deciding play of the game.
After Oklahoma’s Kristian Doolittle missed both his free throws with six seconds left, Coleman, who also led the Longhorns in scoring with 21 points on 9-15 shooting, pushed the ball up-court and got his three biggest points of the game on a running, bank shot three that ended up being the game winner.
The win moves Texas up to third in the Big 12, and in the NCAA Tournament in ESPN’s Joe Lunardi’s projected bracket.
This is your celebration thread. OU sucks.
