Duncanville high school has been a talent rich pipeline for some time, but with Reginald Samples at the helm the amount of talent is really becoming even more prevalent.
The Panthers had guys like Ja’Quinden Jackson, Chris Thompson, Ennis Rakestraw, and Savion Byrd headlining the roster this past season, and it looks like another big time talent is making a name for himself on the recruiting trail.
2022 defensive end Omari Abor was named District 8-6A Defensive Newcomer of the Year this past season and he has seen his stock rise on the recruiting trail. Earlier today Abor announced via his Twitter account that he had received an offer from the University of Texas.

The Longhorns join the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Washington that have extended an offer to the stand out edge rusher from the Metroplex. With several big time programs already expressing interest and offering, it is probably safe to say that things are likely just heating up for Abor recruiting wise.
With Jackson now a Longhorn signee and soon to be enrolled in Austin, it will be interesting to see what kind of role he can play when it comes to pitching his former teammates to potentially join him.
