The Texas Longhorns are set to roll out the red carpet for two elite wide receivers from the Sunshine State, as IMG (Fla.) Academy wide receiver Agiye Hall and Planty City (Fla.) wide receiver Mario Williams announced they will soon be making trips to the Lone State State.

Both Hall and Williams are rated in the top ten of their position group according to 247Sports and both are ranked within the top 75 nationally. Cooper is the No. 17 cornerback in the 2021 class.
Hall recently released a top four that includes Alabama, Arizona State, LSU, and Georgia and is set to announce a decision soon, so despite the visit it is likely a long shot unless he is absolutely blown away on his visit.
Williams has a similar grouping of schools that appear to be standing out, but you can also add Oklahoma as another program that is in the mix for his services.
Cooper’s top four are Florida State, Louisville, Penn State, and Tennessee, but Texas just offered a month ago, so the Longhorns haven’t been recruiting the 6’0, 170-pounder for long. The Seminoles hold both of his 247Sports Crystal Ball projections.
It’s never a bad thing to get elite talents on campus even if it doesn’t always bear fruit. Sometimes you just have to shoot your shot and let the chips fall how they may.
