  • Former Texas quarterback Colt McCoy, who recently signed a deal with the New York Giant to backup second-year starter Daniel Jones, has joined the growing list of celebrities (come on, we can call him that here) who have dropped in on students’ online Zoom classes.
  • Former Duke Blue Devils guard Kyra Lambert is transferring to Texas. A three-year captain at Duke, she averaged 5.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in 2019-2020.
  • Speaking of folks heading to Austin, Pearland High School forward Deyona Gaston announced on Thursday that she too plans to join newly hired Vic Schaefer at Texas.
