Earlier today Texas extended an offer to 2022 3-star Hallandale (FL) defensive back Jaylin Marshall.
Marshall is the 36th ranked prospect out of Florida and 17th ranked safety prospect overall in the country (247Sports).

Marshall’s recent offer from the Longhorns bumps him to 14 FBS offers to date, as programs such as Auburn, Maryland, Penn State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas A&M have already offered.
We’ve seen the Longhorn defensive staff cast a very wide net at defensive back since Chris Ash and Jay Valai arrived on the scene and that approach is already carrying over to the 2022 class.
