With everyone forced to stay inside due to this global pandemic, including those who live on the golf course, golfers and athletes across the country are showcasing their skills in wildly creative ways to cure boredom.

From chipping toilet paper rolls onto glass bottles to sinking shots into moving targets, self-isolation has brought out plenty of incredible golf trick shots across social media.

Texas Longhorns sophomore golfer Cole Hammer took on the challenge and delivered with an epic pool-side chip — a one-hopper out of the water and into the cup.

He followed it up with a four more impressive chip shots, including a few skip-shots across the pool.

Hammer currently ranks as the eighth-best amateur golfer in the world, according to the World Amateur Golf Rankings.

After losing in the championship match at the NCAA Finals last season against Stanford, Hammer and the Texas men’s golf team were on a mission to avenge that loss before their season was cut short.

Texas finished ranked No. 4 in the final 2019-20 team rankings. The Longhorns won at both the East Lake Cup and the Prestige this season and finished runners-up at the Amer Ari Invitational and Southern Highlands Invitational.

Any golf experts out there know which wedge club Hammer is using to make these shots?
